Fondest Memories of time at K.H.S.: Best left untold
Hi Jean --- 26 April 96
Just a short note to up date. Presently I'm living in the Tacoma area getting the last of my tribe thru college or whatever.
I finally quit fishing this last year. I'm in the process of liquidation my boats & etc. Hopefully I've pulled my last crab pot, set my last trawl. I've taken a wage job with Western Pioneer Freight Co. as a marine engineer. Megan (my wife) doesn't quite know what to do with me being home so much.
I frequent Kodiak approx 4-5 times/yr. usually on business with no time for visiting and looking like I crawled out of a bilge (which I have) I have encountered Howard Valley, Dave Kubiak, Oliver Holms and Mike Waller on the Kodiak Docks.
I'm hopefully trying to get time off for the reunion but those of use in the maritime trades - fishing etc- July is a real crucial time.
A last note - last I talked to Roger King, he had most of the class of '66 on file.
Hope things are well with you and your family-Thanx. Let me know if I can help.
Best Wishes
P.S.: Skip Haverly lives in Renton. I have coffee w/him occasionally. I'll give him a call.
